What OBD interface are you using?

vLinker MC / MC+ OBD interface firmware update instructions

NOTE: Updating the vLinker MC or vLinker MC+ interface software is possible using a laptop with Windows 10, Windows 11. The computer must be equipped with a Bluetooth card


  1. Pair the vLinker with your computer
  2. Download the latest update for your interface from https://www.vgatemall.com/downloadcenter/?Type=&i=&downloadKeywords=vLinker_MC
  3. Extract all files and then run vLinkerFwUpdater v3.5.exe
  4. In the Device Type section, select BT.
  5. In the Comm Port section, select the COM port of the interface.
  6. Press the Read button. The Output field should contain information about the current firmware version of the interface.
    If this information is not displayed, it means that the wrong COM port has been selected. Change the COM port to another one and repeat the step.
  7. In the Firmware section, press the Browse button and select the firmware file, for example vLinker_MC_V2.2.82.txt
    Press the Update button
    Do not turn off your computer or vLinker.
    The update process may take approximately 60 seconds. The progress will be visible in the bar.
    When the update is completed, the message 'File download finished!' will appear in the Input field.
  8. Press the Read button to verify. Information about the firmware version will appear in the Output field.
  9. Close the vLinkerFwUpdater v3.5.exe application, then reconnect the vLinker interface from your car's OBD port.
